Scouting Sunday is this Sunday! Scout Sunday and Pinewood Derby Fun! Join us on Sunday, Feb 08 as we celebrate Scout Sunday at our 10:00 a.m. service. Bring your scouting sash, badges, or uniform to be blessed during the service! Immediately following the service, stick around for a Pinewood Derby that's sure to bring plenty of fun, friendly competition, and smiles for all ages. Families, scouts, and friends are all welcome. Come cheer, connect, and enjoy the excitement! Children & Youth Programs We welcome children and youth from grades pre-K to High School, both regulars and newcomers, to our Sunday School and Youth Group. For pre-K to 5th graders, we strive to teach children about God’s love for them while also sharing Bible stories and important messages about how our faith tells us to treat ourselves, each other, and the world. We welcome faithful adults who wish to teach our children and youth about the Word of God. There is a special joy in watching the children learn about the stories in the Bible and teaching them about God and His Love for them. Please contact the church office to learn more. Children's Programs Sunday School takes place each Sunday during the program year. Children begin by gathering in the Sanctuary at the 10:00 am service where they receive a blessing before going to their classrooms. Children return during the offertory to receive communion with their families. Mini Trinity Camp a week-long mini camp for children younger than 2nd grade. Special & Seasonal Services Bishop's Visits - Every year, one of our Bishop's joins us to preside over worship, and to baptize or confirm mew members of our church family. It is a joyful day. Kirkin' of the Tartan - Every spring, we don our tartans and celebrate our Scottish heritage with a special service complete with bag pipes and traditional Scottish music. Youth Sunday - In the late spring we honor and celebrate our youth and graduating High School Seniors with a service dedicated to them in which the youth lead the service. Trinity Camp Sunday - On the Sunday following Trinity Church Camp, we celebrate with camp music and drama lead by campers and camper leaders. Pride Sunday - Let your PRIDE colors fly! We honor and celebrate all those - regardless of gender, age, race, or sexual orientation - made in God's image. Blessing of the Backpacks & Musical Instruments - In August each year we bless and pray for children and teacher heading back to school. Blessing of the Animals - On the Sunday closest to October 4 (The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi), all are invited to bring their pets for a special blessing. Native American Service - The Native American service usually occurs in the fall when members of the Native American community join us for special worship and prayers. Blue Christmas - Blue Christmas service provides a quiet and contemplative worship service as an alternative to the more traditional gatherings. This is in honor of those who are experiencing grief and struggling with loss. This service usually draws a relatively small, intimate crowd of those mourning the loss of a loved one. The service is usually held around the longest night of the year, which is usually December 21.

Bible and Book Studies With a variety of topics and learning opportunities, Bible and book studies at Trinity help us explore and shape our beliefs. All are invited to be a part of the conversation. 2027 Camp Dates June 13-19 2027 Trinity Church Camp CAMP NOW. CAMP FOREVER. Trinity Camp is a great time for all children who have completed 2nd grade through high school to experience a week of Christian fellowship. The camp site has land games like archery, volleyball, high-ropes, and a waterfront right on Big Bear Lake, with paddle boards, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes and more. Every day starts with a theme based activity in coordination with chapel time in which includes drama, singing and dancing. There is plenty of time for campers to do arts and crafts, join other campers in board games, and hang out at the water front. The day ends with a campfire which includes skits provided by the campers and more singing. It's a great week of fun and creating wonderful memories. Trinity Church Camp has been an integral part of our community and youth program since 1912. In 2014, the camp returned to the Santa Monica YMCA Camp in Big Bear, CA. This was Trinity Camp's home from 1977 to 2008. The location provides a large waterfront on Boulder Bay for kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, pedal boats, canoes, and lake front swimming. Land activities include gaga ball, archery, basketball, ping-pong, arts and crafts, volleyball, a ropes course, and frisbee golf. A pool heated to a comfortable 80 degrees is available to campers. The longevity of Trinity Camp has been made possible by the generous support of the parishioners at Trinity. Music is a key part of the fun, provided by musicians and stage personalities! It has been through their dedication to sharing their great talents that all campers are provided immeasurable joy and leadership in the camp's worship and campfire activities. Traditions of songs and campfire skits are just two gems of Trinity Camp, but there are so many more – if you want to know more, just ask one of the thousands of Trinity Campers from over 100 years!
